The Position:
The role as Flight Operation Assistant is an exciting opportunity for a pilot who is no longer flying or no longer wish to do so or for someone with a background within aviation and especially within EU-OPS. Good knowledge of FAA regulation is desirable.

You will be based in Billund and will work closely together with colleagues throughout the NAC entities. You will report to our Chief Pilot.

Key Responsibilities:
As Flight Operation Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coordination of flights between hangar, crew and passengers, operational planning of flights and scheduling, you also ensure that our company aircrafts (Global 6000 & CJ3 are ready for dispatch, Catering is on board, Cabins are tidy and clean, Documents are up to date etc.

Furthermore, you will assist our asset managers in planning and arrangement of ferry/test flights.

Additional tasks / responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for LOA´s, (RVSM, MNPS, etc.).
  • Part-NCC/assisting NCC group.
  • Various Data Reporting.
  • Keeping track of various subscriptions / contracts.
  • Negotiating contracts i.e. handling, fuel, parking etc.
  • Various assistance to pilots i.e. VISA application, training bookings, hotel and transport agreements.
  • Updating aircraft databases, hard copies of data i.e. Jeppesen, AFM etc.
  • Keeping Flight Logs, crew flight logs and crew currency updated.
  • Handling all Post-flight data.
  • ETS reporting/controlling (CO2 reporting).
  • APD Reports (UK Advanced Passenger Duty).

The position is versatile and challenging and since the position is newly created you have a great opportunity to influence.

Who We Are Looking For:
You currently work or have worked with Flight Operations or you are a former pilot and you have obtained the necessary experience with the responsibilities mentioned above mostly within an EU-OPS operation but also worldwide.

You have extensive knowledge of regulations and requirements and you can take ownership of all the processes included in the role.

You are interested in building strong relationships with your colleagues and key stakeholders and you have a good command of the English language as well as solid IT skills.

You are disciplined, working mostly by yourself but also enjoying working and interacting with colleagues.

It is essential that you are flexible. The working hours as well as the workload varies a lot and working hours can be on weekdays and weekends.

Knowledge about ARINC, Bombardier Flightdeck, & general EFB set-up, is preferred, but not a requirement.
